Sickrage: Local branch is ahead of master. Automatic update not possible. - Bytesized Hosting

Some of you Streamboxes users might see this message on top of your Sickrage, let me explain why this is happening.

When I wrote Sickrage support for Bytesized I noticed a big security hole that gave me access to any running Sickrage instance without password or username. Obviously I couldn't support that so I wrote a quick fix and reported the problem to the Sickrage team. Sadly their main developer was M.I.A. so they couldn't fix it right away. As a work around I forked the main repo and used this version as an installeable application for all Bytesized users. They finally fixed the problem on monday and it's safe to use the main repository again.

Sickrage sees I made custom changes and that's why it says: "Local branch is ahead of master. Automatic update not possible.". To get automatic updates working again please issue the following command in a terminal over ssh or vnc: cd ~/apps && rm -rvf sickrage && git clone https://github.com/SiCKRAGETV/SickRage.git sickrage
