Long time, no news..
It has been a while since our last news post but we have some news for you right now:
Let's start on a serious note:
Some of you might have received an e-mail about Plex and a third-party that was able to access a limited subset of data that includes emails, usernames, and encrypted passwords. If you haven't received this e-mail I'd like to bring it to your attention: https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/wwb93o/action_required_important_notice_of_a_potential/
TL:DR Plex database breached, they recommend resetting your Password. Don't forget to reclaim your server after the password has changed.
On a less serious note:
We've been busy upgrading our servers to Ubuntu 22.04 and the server you are sitting on right now can expect an upgrade in the upcoming month / 2 months. What does this mean for you ? Ubuntu on the latest version, more apps on the latest version, possibilities to add apps requiring Python 3 or higher.
What we've already added:
- Two factor authentication to your Bytesized account. Profile icon > Settings > Enable button in the bottom left of the popup window.
- There's a couple of new apps you might have already noticed: Xteve, Nzbhydra, Qbittorent and lastly Readarr,
