Commission accrues automatically

The moment a referred customer's invoice is paid, 10% lands in your pending balance. We don't wait. It's instant in the dashboard.

Monthly invoice, on the 1st

On the 1st of every month we generate a self-billed invoice covering every commission past its 60-day holdback. The holdback exists because card chargebacks can land 30–90 days after the original payment — once a commission clears the window, it's safe to pay out. Once your eligible balance is at least €50, the invoice goes out.

Email + PDF arrive in your inbox

You get an email with the PDF invoice attached. It carries your legal name, address, tax ID, the period covered, and a per-customer commission breakdown. All the documentation your bookkeeper needs.

PayPal payout within 7 business days

We send the money to your PayPal email via PayPal Payouts. Bytesized covers the PayPal fee. The invoice is marked paid with the PayPal batch ID for your records.

The balance rolls over. No commission is ever lost. It just waits for the next monthly cycle when you cross the threshold.

Tax handled per country

Run as a B2B vendor relationship. You provide marketing services, we self-bill you. Your country determines what we collect and how we handle VAT.

Netherlands

Provide your Dutch VAT number (BTW). We validate the format on signup. Invoices carry 21% VAT and we pay you the gross amount.

EU Required

Other EU countries

Provide your VAT number. We validate it live against the EU VIES registry. Reverse-charge VAT applies (invoice issued without VAT). We file the EU paperwork. Nothing for you to do.

INTL Optional

Outside the EU

Tax ID is optional. Service is supplied outside EU VAT scope, so no VAT on either side. Income tax in your country is your problem (we don't withhold).

We handle the invoicing

You don't write us an invoice. We issue one on your behalf (self-billing, EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC). Saves you the admin and keeps the books clean. Every invoice is sequential, dated, and PDF-archived.

How much does the program pay?

When and how do I get paid?

Commissions are paid monthly via PayPal once your balance is at least €50.

How long do referral cookies last?

60 days. Sign-ups within 60 days of clicking your link are attributed to you.

Who can join?

Anyone. You don't need to be a Bytesized customer to apply. If you don't have an account yet, you'll create one as part of the affiliate signup. Self-referrals (signing up under your own link) are not permitted.

What happens if a referral cancels and re-signs up later?

If they sign up within 60 days of clicking your link again, attribution returns to you.

What if a referred customer asks for a refund or chargebacks?

Commissions enter a 60-day holdback before they're eligible for payout, so refunds and chargebacks within that window simply don't count toward your balance. Bytesized's standard customer refund window is 48 hours pro-rata, so the vast majority of refund cases never reach payout in the first place.

Do you allow PPC bidding on the Bytesized name?

No. Brand-term PPC is the fastest way to get terminated from the program. Promote in your own audience, not by buying our name from Google.
