Description

Audiobookshelf is a self-hosted audiobook and podcast server. It provides a clean web interface and mobile apps for listening to your audiobook collection from anywhere.

Installation

Audiobookshelf is available as a one-click install from your Bytesized dashboard. Click Install next to Audiobookshelf in your app list.

Getting Started

After installation, access Audiobookshelf through the link on your dashboard. The first time you open it, create an admin account and add your audiobook library.

Tips and Tricks

Adding Audiobooks

Upload audiobooks to the ~/media/Audiobooks/ folder via FTP or your file manager. Audiobookshelf supports M4B, MP3, and MP4 formats. Organize by author/title folders for automatic metadata matching.

Mobile Apps

Audiobookshelf has dedicated mobile apps for iOS and Android. Connect them using your Bytesized dashboard URL and your Audiobookshelf credentials.

Metadata

Audiobookshelf can automatically fetch metadata, cover art, and descriptions from online sources. Use the metadata tools in the library settings to match and update your collection.
