JDownloader

Description

JDownloader is a download manager that supports downloading from file hosting sites, HTTP/FTP servers, and other sources. It can handle captchas, extract archives, and manage multiple downloads simultaneously.

Installation

JDownloader is available as a one-click install from your Bytesized dashboard. During installation you will need to provide your MyJDownloader account credentials.

Getting Started

After installation, manage JDownloader through my.jdownloader.org:

Log in with your MyJDownloader account
Your Bytesized JDownloader instance will appear in the device list
Add links to download via the web interface or browser extension

Download Location

Downloads are saved to ~/apps/jdownloader/downloads/ by default. You can change this in the JDownloader settings.

Tips and Tricks

Browser Extension

Install the MyJDownloader browser extension to send links directly to your Bytesized JDownloader instance from any website.

Moving Downloads

After downloading, move files to your media folders (~/media/Movies/, etc.) so your media server can pick them up.
