Description

Threadfin is an M3U proxy server for Plex, Emby, and Jellyfin. It acts as a middleware between your IPTV provider and your media server, allowing you to watch live TV channels through your media server interface.

Installation

Threadfin is available as a one-click install from your Bytesized dashboard.

Getting Started

After installation, access Threadfin through the link on your dashboard. You will need to configure it with your IPTV provider details:

1. Add your M3U playlist URL
2. Add your XMLTV EPG (Electronic Program Guide) URL
3. Map channels to your preferred names and logos
4. Connect Threadfin to Plex, Emby, or Jellyfin as a DVR/Live TV source

Tips and Tricks

Connecting to Plex

In Plex, go to Settings > Live TV & DVR and add Threadfin as a DVR device using your Threadfin URL.

Channel Filtering

Use the channel editor in Threadfin to hide channels you do not want, rename channels, or change channel numbers to match your preference.
