The Storage Problem

Your seedbox storage fills up. Sonarr and Radarr keep downloading, but nobody watches half of it. You could manually review and delete, but that's tedious — especially when you're sharing with friends who might want that movie you're about to remove.

Maintainerr solves this. It's a library maintenance tool that finds unwatched, aging media and removes it automatically — with a "Leaving Soon" grace period so your users can watch before it's gone.

How It Works

1. You define rules: "Remove movies not watched in 90 days" or "Remove TV shows with less than 2 plays in 60 days"
2. Maintainerr checks Plex/Jellyfin play data and Tautulli statistics
3. Matching media goes into a "Leaving Soon" collection visible on your Plex home screen
4. After a configurable grace period (e.g., 14 days), Maintainerr deletes the files
5. It also removes the entry from Radarr/Sonarr so they don't re-download it

The "Leaving Soon" Feature

This is Maintainerr's best feature. Before deleting anything, it adds movies to a visible "Leaving Soon" collection on Plex. Your users see it on their home screen. If they watch the movie during the grace period, the deletion timer resets.
